HOW YOU'LL SERVE OUR ORGANIZATION:  

The Event Content and Education Manager, ideally located in Chicago or Nashville,  leads the development of the organizational content strategy, developing long-term education and training goals, leading content for virtual and conference events and planning the logistics of key speakers to/from conferences for our client organizations.

 

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinate the proposal submission and acceptance process for keynotes, breakout sessions, workshops, and labs for client events 
  • Provide speaker, reviewer and volunteer training and support as needed to ensure that the educational goals are met in developing programs
  • Serve as an education liaison to association members, volunteers, and speakers
  • Apply the use of all eLearning and technology tools to support client education initiatives including a variety of abstract management tools, eLearning development software, web-conferencing tools and live capture/recording tools
  • Coordinate all aspects of online training opportunities via eLearning courses, webinars and live capture at meetings and support content management administration needs and overall client stewardship
  • Recommend and develop new ideas to enhance event programming experiences
  • Direct all aspects of educational programs including agenda development and management, logistics, content development and speaker management.
  • Provide administrative support for program planning and continuing education meetings and serve as onsite lead for client events

  

WHAT WE'LL ASK FOR: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience including managing content or speaker management for large scale conferences and/or virtual programs; prior association experience preferred
  • Proven project management experience including the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Ability to work directly with client in a service-oriented manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional detail orientation and accountability is a must!
